The SHRM Education Partner Program is a network of colleges, universities, and other training partners on a shared mission to elevate the HR profession. How are we doing it? By preparing HR professionals to earn the most current, comprehensive and globally recognized HR certifications, the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP. The SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certifications are built upon the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge™ (SHRM BoCK™). More than an exam outline, the SHRM BoCK defines the standards for knowledge, strategies and competencies required of
effective HR professionals around the world.
In addition to certification prep courses, many of our partners offer the SHRM Essentials of Human Resources. The Essentials course provides an introductory overview of key HR topics and the fundamental issues surrounding HR. The course can serve as a feeder for the SHRM certification prep course.
HOW IT WORKS
SHRM Education Partners receive turnkey instructor resources and course materials along with access to everything needed to plan, promote and run the course. In addition, you receive special pricing for all student materials. And I’ll provide one-on-one guidance to get you started and help you maintain a successful program.
In turn, you offer instructor-led courses built on the SHRM Learning System and SHRM Essentials program materials.

The SHRM Learning System
Designed specifically for adult learners, this interactive system combines in-depth HR knowledge with real-life situations to help you master the material and set you up for success on your certification exam.
The SHRM Essentials of Human Resources
This course provides foundational HR knowledge and includes reading materials, a workbook and online study tools to help students master HR concepts and gain a better understanding of Human Resources issues facing organizations.
Instructor Materials
Printed and online materials help instructors prepare, manage and deliver an effective learning experience. Instructor materials include:
- Learning modules with slide cues.
- An Instructor Resource Book to assist in class preparation and implementation.
- Downloadable PowerPoint slides that can be customized based on the instructor and/or class needs.
- Access to online group reporting tools to track assignment completion and group progress.
